When I first started this blog in November of 2005, I never thought that two years later I would consistently be thought of and named to many of the “top” lists that come out every so often.
Honestly, I am humbled anytime I am included on a list that includes folks like Jeff Pulver, Andy Abramson, Alec Saunders, Rich Tehrani and Om Malik. It is sort of like being the rookie named to the Pro Bowl. It is always tough for me to think of myself as one of the best, especially when you consider the company that was included in the list.
It is also interesting that another one of the blogs that i started and contribute to, VoIP Insiders, also made the list.
For me this blog (and blogging in general) has never been about money, fame or recognition. It has been about starting and joining conversations that I would never have had access to otherwise. This blog has opened up avenues that I previously have never thought possible and has taught me so much about this industry and the great folks who are a part of it.
So, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the VoIP bloggers, who over the past two years who have welcomed me with open arms, listened, assisted, guided and mentored me along the way. I wish all of you my best in the forthcoming year and beyond!
