Yesterday I had the pleasure of chatting with one of my favorite people in the VoIP industry, Jeff Dixon. For those who don’t know who Jeff Dixon is, Jeff was one of the primary drivers of the enormous growth Polycom’s voice division has experienced over the last few years. Well, to my surprise, the reason for the call was because Jeff has taken a new post with a soon to be named company.
Now, I have seen my fair share of people on the move in the VoIP industry, but Jeff must being using nitrous. When I first met him two and a half years ago he was a Director, followed by two VP posts and now Jeff is headed for the…well…that will have to wait until next week.
What I can tell you right now is that Jeff’s new company has an impressive technology that is targeted at an untapped market and Jeff is just the right guy to take the company to the big stage. Again look for more on this front next week. Until then, join me in congratulating Jeff and wishing him much success in his new positio.

Jeff takes nitrous and Red Bull as a sedative! Way to go Jeff….your going to kill it man! Just rooting from the cheap seats man. Great post Garrett. It is great to see someone such as yourself who recognizing the real doers in VOIP man.
