SNom 370 Offers VPN Security

The Snom 370, which debuted at CeBit over five months ago, is finally available through Snom resellers worldwide. I profiled the Snom 370 when it was first announced in February and was impressed by the tremendous amount of features and functionality that the phone offered business class costumers.

With the Snom 370, it looks like a hardware vendor has finally packaged together everything that many business class customers have be asking for in one unit.The Snom 370 has an MSRP of $369.99 USD, which will be a challenge in the market as the trend is towards ip phones with increased features and functionality, with an ever decreasing price. Even still if you are looking for a phone with all of the bells and whistles and you can’t afford a Cisco, the 370 is the choice.

It seems that over the past few months, Snom has decided to lower the total cost of the 370 to $299.99, making it an even more compelling alternative to Cisco ip phones.
