Truphone Launches Out+ Mobile VoIP Service

Mobile VoIP Provider truphone Out+ Enables CLI

UK Mobile VoIP provider Truphone has launched Truphone Out+, a new feature that enables free and VoIP-rate calls to be made from a customer’s existing phone number. Truphone Out+ also brings carrier pre-select to Truphone customers, ensuring free Truphone-to-Truphone calls are set up whenever possible. One of the biggest features of Out+ is that it is accessible to new customers from countries where Truphone does not yet provide local mobile numbers (anywhere outside of the US and UK). Because of this new feature Truphone is now able to pass the caller line identification (phone number) when making a Truphone call.

While I am not a big fan of the third party mobile VoIP business model, this move definitely will help Truphone expand their service to new customers across the world.
