Thanks for returning. You're a very smart person.
Definitely Unfortunate
I have been using Gizmo Project on a limited basis for the past year and a half, mostly to communicate with family and friends. After a few announcements from Gizmo Project, that highlighted the ability to manage multiple IM platforms from the Gizmo messenger, and my growing frustration with managing multiple IM platforms (AOL, Yahoo!, MSN, Skype) for personal and business communications, I decided to download the latest version of Gizmo at work and begin using Gizmo to manage 90% of my business and personal communications.
Numerous Problems Spoil My Plans
To start, I am having problems logging-in to the client. When i am finally able to log-in, it is after waiting for up seven minutes! Not exactly ideal for a “mission critical” application in the workplace. But this is not my main source of frustration. My main source of frustration came from the less than stellar import of contacts from my Yahoo!, MSN, and AIM messengers.
My Yahoo! and MSN contact import was complete, but they did not get imported correctly. Not much of a help or value-add to have the management of multiple IM platforms from Gizmo if it does not work right. Worse yet, the import of my AIM contacts failed, after a few attempts.
So for now, my grand plans of using Gizmo Project as my sole communications client for business and personal communications will be put on hold. Looks like it is back to multiple platforms, and taking a second look at expanding my use of Skype and many of the new plug-ins that expand it’s capabilities.

Poor Smith! I use Gizmo daily, connected 24/7 over Voxalot’s web based PBX. Maybe people like me are blocking the access for you?
