Residential VoIP Subscribers Doubled in 2005

Point Topic, a broadband Internet research firm, released an analysis on retail VoIP subscribers today that showed worldwide retail VoIP subscriptions increasing 83% in 2005 going from 10.3 Million in January to over 18.7 Million in December. The study found that Japan, France, and the US had the largest number of retail VoIP subscribers. Retail VoIP subscribers doubled in the US in 2005 according to the research.
