Hey, you're new around here aren't ya? Did you know you can every post FREE in your EMAIL or via RSS? Oh and if you're a Twit like me you can follow me on Twitter HERE. Enjoy the post.

So does “I’m a PC and I’m a MAC” apply to IP PBX systems? If so then look out 4S newcom. Your new use of the MAC mini as an IP PBX is sure to have trendy, die-hard Apple fanatic business owners buying your systems fast then you can make them.

4S newcom, a spin-off from Snom technologies AC a leading ip phone manufacturer, has released the “slickest” IP PBX in the world, the iBlue. The iBlue is based off of 4S newcom’s 4S IP PBX. In order to use the Mac mini as an IP PBX, it is booted off an iPod Shuffle, which has been engineered to host the complete system, from OS to IP PBX.

“We have put our complete IP PBX on it [the iPod Shuffle]”, says Dr. Harry Behrens, Managing Director of 4S newcom. “It is so compact that even on the smallest iPod Shuffle (512 MB) enough room is left for 4 full hours of music.”

For only 2,999 Euro’s you can get the iBlue entry level system. It consists of a Mac mini, the iPod Shuffle with the 4S IP PBX licensed for up to 250 users and 30 parallel calls, as well as five snom300 voip phones. Sales are set to kick-off on November 6th. Not sure if these will be available in North America. Possibly VoIP Supply will carry the iBlue.
