Linksys has released it’s latest Wi-Fi VoIP phone and it is made for Skype. The Linksys WIP320, part of Cisco’s iPhone series of Wi-Fi VoIP phones, supports SkypeOut dialing and rings when you have a Skype or SkypeIn call coming in, displaying the caller’s ID on the screen. The WIP320 is 802.11b/g compatible, has a 1.8in color TFT color lcd screen, and is a Skype Certified product. The Linksys WIP320 also supports call waiting and Skype’s optional Voicemail service. When you’re on a call, you can hit the Mute button for privacy, or use the handsfree speakerphone function to let everyone join in.
As of right now, there is no information on MSRP, but street price is said to be around $199.99. It is not known when the Linksys WIP320 will be available through the Linksys VAR network.

Has anyone tried the WIP320? I can’t find a single review on Amazon or thru Google.
I would think this would be a fairly compelling device, given that you can make Skype/phone calls anywhere close to a hotspot, but I’m new to Skype so maybe I’m missing something?
