HP iPAQ 500 Smartphone to Feature Native VoIP Calling

Unlike many smartphones that come with WiFi/GSM capabilities, the HP iPAQ 500 will not require a thrid party client, like Skype, to make thrid party calls. The HP iPAQ Voice messenger’s SIP based client is built into the iPAQ 500 Windows Mobile 6.0 software, and is set to work with any SIP based IP PBX. This is smartphone is taking the next step in dual mode integration and it will be exciting to see how well the iPAQ’s SIP client interops with coroporate IP PBX systems.
