Cingular’s Day Light Savings Time Folly

My doesn’t…and it sucks.
Honestly, I am more than capable of arriving to work, meetings, lunch, dinner, etc. late by myself. No need for assistance from Cingular. What’s worse? I use my Samsung BlackJack as my morning alarm and yes, I forgot to adjust the time of the alarm because, well because i figured Cingular would not forgot to adjust the time pushed down to their handsets.
Now I know the US government threw a huge wrench in the machine that is Cingular by changing the date that we would “leap forward”, but just how difficult is it to fix this?
And yes, I have restarted my device a dozen times since yesterday hoping a restart might fix the issue, so this is not user or an ID10T error.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Cingular?

[...] Daylight Saving Time Snafu with Cingular: You’d think the phone company could get this crap right, but apparently not. Makes me happy that I’m not only not relying on network time from the mobile network, but that I am using an unlocked, unbranded phone where I am beholden to the carrier. Oh yeah, I hate Daylight Saving Time. [...]
