At Least Vonage’s Commercials Were Funny

Ooma Won’t Win Many Over With Commercials Like This

Ooma, the sort-of-VoIP start-up that allows users to make FREE phone calls has released what I consider to be one of the worse representations of a product I have EVER seen. First pointed out to me by Valleywag, the Ooma commercial below is just another example of the gimmicky nature that is mis-shaping the industry in the eyes of the mainstream. Talk about getting PUNK’D!

Wow, that is bad. The flame out from this one will be really quick – which is unfortunate as there is a good idea in there somewhere; but in its present incarnation it is dooma’d.
