Aastra Telecom Moving in on Zultys Resellers

Aastra Telecom, and IP handset manufacturer, is moving in on the now defunct Zultys reseller channel by announcing the interoperability of their suite of IP phone solutions with the Zultys MX30 & MX250 IP-PBX platforms.

In the words of Neil Darling, Partner at EtherSpeak Communications LLC, a Virginia and Tampa Florida based reseller of IP Telephony solutions and one of Zultys largest resellers, “We’ve tested the Aastra telephones and have found that they integrate easily and deliver exceptional performance. The industrial design of the phones, familiar form factor to classic Aastra telephones and advanced features including XML and wireless make the Aastra IP product line a great choice for our customers. Furthermore, the Aastra Reseller Program offers our firm industry and product education, marketing programs and rebates on our sales. Signing up with Aastra was no brain-er.”

This will not be the last of the IP phone manufacturers looking to capitalize on the bankruptcy of Zultys. I would expect to see similar news out of folks like Linksys, Grandstream, and Polycom shortly.
